Our commitment
Smart Cities klub, o. z., is committed to making the stics.sk website accessible to the widest possible range of users regardless of their disability, used device, or technology.
When creating the website, we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 methodology at level AA and the European standard EN 301 549.
The STICS project focuses on smart and inclusive solutions for local governments. Therefore we consider the accessibility of our own website a matter of course, even though the law does not directly impose it on us.
Compliance status
The website stics.sk is in partial compliance with the specified standards.
his means that the majority of the content meets the accessibility requirements, but certain elements currently fulfill them only partially. We are continuously working on addressing these remaining gaps.
Content that may not yet be fully accessible
- Interactive graphical elements, such as the logo with connected sectors, the organizational structure diagram, and the timeline, are currently optimized primarily for mouse operation.
- Some embedded videos lack subtitles or a text transcript.
- For certain color combinations of text and background, the recommended contrast ratio may not be achieved.
- Some images do not have alternative text descriptions filled in.
- Downloadable documents in PDF format may not be fully accessible to screen readers.
