Dubnica nad Váhom is a significant industrial town in the Trenčín Self-Governing Region in north-western Slovakia. It lies in the valley of the river Váh below the Strážovské vrchy mountains and is one of the important economic centres of the Považie region. We will gain an overview of how other towns and municipalities are tackling similar challenges, for example smart solutions, digitalisation, energy and mobility. Taking part will help us prepare stronger project proposals in future. We will build contacts with other local authorities, experts and organisations, which is often key to future joint projects.
