About us
Pezinok is an important district town in the Bratislava Self-Governing Region in south-western Slovakia. It lies at the foot of the Little Carpathians and is one of the best known centres of viticulture and winemaking in Slovakia. The town is rich in history, cultural monuments and traditions, and attracts visitors with its historic centre and surroundings suited to hiking and cycling. Thanks to its convenient location near Bratislava and its well developed amenities, Pezinok is an attractive place to live, do business and visit.

What benefits do you expect for your local authority from joining as a STICS Follower?
We expect that cooperation with STICS will give us access to ready-made, proven solutions that we will be able to apply. Through this cooperation we are also looking for opportunities to draw EU funding for a number of projects that we as a city cannot currently afford to finance ourselves.
