OUR ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE CONSORTIUM

In the STICS project, CERTH will contribute to smart solutions for public infrastructure and buildings in cities and regions through its in-house software tool VERIFY. This LCA/LCC/IP tool will carry out environmental and cost-oriented analyses of investment concepts for buildings and urban districts, while also supporting investment planning for various services such as building renovation. In this way it will help improve the sustainability of public infrastructure throughout its entire life cycle.

BENEFITS OF OUR OUTPUTS AND TARGET GROUPS

The outputs to be delivered include environmental and economic results for scenarios covering public buildings and infrastructure (new buildings, renovation concepts) from a life cycle perspective, as well as investment planning for the main sustainable building solutions. These outputs are primarily relevant to the owners of the project's assessed cases, but more broadly they address all local authorities and regions interested in building innovation and sustainability, as well as the academic community.
