KOOR is a Slovak company focused on sustainable energy solutions. We help local authorities and organisations improve energy efficiency through smart technologies, data-driven tools and the integration of renewable energy sources. We operate across Slovakia and beyond, delivering innovative, scalable solutions that help communities move towards cleaner, smarter energy systems.
OUR ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE CONSORTIUM
As part of the consortium, we lead the design and implementation of a smart energy transformation system in Kežmarok and Horné Srnie. Our activities include data collection, energy audits, system design, stakeholder consultations and solution validation across five phases. We focus on integrating local energy sources, smart flexibility and storage, while ensuring scalable, efficient energy solutions built around stakeholder needs.
BENEFITS OF OUR OUTPUTS AND TARGET GROUPS
We will deliver a validated, scalable smart energy system tailored to Kežmarok and Horné Srnie, including technical documentation, collaboration on visualisation dashboards and energy audit reports. The outputs will support local energy efficiency and the integration of renewable sources. Beneficiaries include local authorities, local actors and policymakers, and the scalable solutions are also designed for wider use in other communities.

What do you expect from the STICS project?
We expect the STICS project to support collaboration and knowledge exchange between partners, making it possible to validate innovative smart energy solutions in real pilot locations. The project will help develop scalable tools for positive energy districts and strengthen partnerships with local authorities and stakeholders in order to support a sustainable local energy transition.
Who will be able to use your outputs, and when?
After the project ends, our outputs will be applicable in the pilot municipalities of Kežmarok and Horné Srnie, where they will support their local energy transition goals. The scalable tools and system design will also benefit other local authorities and stakeholders looking to introduce smart, flexible and renewable energy solutions in the near future.
