About us
Michalovce, one of the most important cities in eastern Slovakia, is the economic, administrative and cultural centre of the Zemplín region. The city lies in the Košice Self-Governing Region, one of the eight self-governing regions of the Slovak Republic. Thanks to its strategic location, developed infrastructure and proximity to the Zemplínska šírava recreation area, Michalovce ranks among the major regional centres of eastern Slovakia.
