The STICS project was showcased at the Erasmus+ International Staff Week 2026 in Pilsen, Czech Republic “Bridging Academia with Industry: Research, Internships and AI in Practice”, as a key initiative bridging academic research with industrial practice.
PILSEN, CZECH REPUBLIC – Oleksii Yehorchenkov represented Comenius University and the SPECTRA Centre of Excellence EU at the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) and International Staff Week 2026, delivering a dedicated presentation on the STICS project and its role in modern research and regional innovation.
Hosted jointly by the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and OTH Amberg-Weiden under the theme “Bridging Academia with Industry: Research, Internships and AI in Practice”, the week gathered academic and industry professionals from nine European nations, including Germany, France, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia.
The presentation directly complemented the event’s practical programme, which featured research centre site visits, case studies on commercial-academic partnerships, and hands-on workshops covering AI-driven factories and technology transfer pitching.
